Beginning our first studio amidst the Covid era we were assigned to rethink and reimagine the future of infrastructural architectural ports. Here our team imagined a future wherein the immediacy of technology, information, and travel that's been constantly evolving with the development of “same day shipping” and googles “1,000,000,000 results in 1.3 seconds” is subverted by the same infrastructure that used to support it. In an age rid of “waiting spaces” a new transportation hub is developed that takes you throughout Oxnard. This labyrinth of space intentionally delayed you, an act of anticipation, and control that otherwise has been completely removed from daily life.
