This library design focuses on structures' relationship to program and how the artifacts of a library meet the public ground surface. Two independent grids collide and organize the library into 3 pieces that all join at a level below grade and a bridged level above grade. Creating new performance space and public paths through the corner lot the library acts as an extension of the public sphere rather than an adjacent simply accessible building.
